Mannequin Pussy is classified commonly as pop-punk, but I really do think that, on Romantic at least, they tend to one or the other; that is, they either go full pop, or full punk, and rarely ever for that quintessential "pop-punk" sound. My favorite track, "Pledge", whiplashes between pleasing acoustic guitar-led passages and intense punk screams.
