From Natalie Carol: "This version of "Pavement" was an experiment with Lewis Pesacov, who produced our debut record ‘Supergiant.’ We were inspired by the production of Joni Mitchell's 1976 Hejira. You can hear more of the jazz fusion influence in this version. We worked with Dustin Bookatz on this track, who recorded all of his bass remotely from Australia. His playing gives a Jaco Pastorius flavor to this song I really love."
